On Facebook REALLY?!

So a week ago i learned some disturbing news. My dad was diagnosed with stage 3 kidney disease (renal failure). He was born with one kidney which is functioning at 46%. And how i found this out? well if the title give you any clue then there you go. It makes me mad, I mean im worried about my dad but there was a better way for my parents to tell me. They told one of my brothers the night they found out. However the rest of us had to find out on Facebook. Anyway i just have to vent, and i can't vent to Matt. I've been frustrated lately not just for that but i feel that htere is something seriously wrong with me. Back in December me and Luke fell off our porch. I should've gone to the doctor but we didn't have insurance for me. Now 9 months later im still in pain and its constantly. And it feels like it's gotton worse. I just don't know what to do. I"m going through a tough time right now and i feel like i have no one to turn to.

Giving Up

Well i thought with the fb page i made, business cards, ads on websites and my creations posted on pinterest. That i would have a thriving business, however it seems no one takes me seriously. Instead people waste my time and get me all excited to make their cake then tell me later that i'm not! It thoroughly pisses me off. whats worse it also makes doubt my ability. no one seems to understand the time and money it takes to make something like that. Not to mention that all the supplies that i use i have to buy myself at retail!!! I'm done with this. I'm throwing my dream away!!!!

Wedding Cakes and Luke turns 1!!!!

So on the 7th Matt and I went to Arizona for the week. It was a lot of fun, and great to get away from the cold. We went because my cousin Liz got married and i made her cake. It was really hard but well worth it, It looked great after!!! So many people asked me how much I would charge to ship and that I should move to Arizona to make their cakes. Friday was Luke's birthday, it is crazy to think that it has been a year since he came into our lives. We took him to Cracker Barrel and he got the Coca- Cola Cake and LOVED it. Then yesterday was his birthday party, he had a blast!!! And right when he needed to blow out the candle he decided to dig into his cake. His face was green all over, but he had so much fun and crashed early. My little boy is going up.

Same Old...

So my last post was about me and Luke falling off the porch and sure enough I still hurt! When I fell I must of screwed up something in my neck because ever since then I start hurting where it hit and the pain goes up into my head. It sucks because it constantly hurts and there isn't anything I can do about it. Christmas was fun and believe it or not for the first time in years my birthday was pretty great too. Luke is 10 months old now and its crazy that my first year as a mom is almost over! He is trying to walk but hasn't quite gotten the hang of it. Matt and I haven't had much luck finding a job, but I found out that I qualify for a grant to do this 12 week Dental Assisting program so I'm trying to get everything taken care of so i can start it soon. Life is so frustrating it has been that way since October with lack of job, financial stress, family stress, and having to deal with rude people, I just need a break!
